      Help

      General Usage

Simply type in the textbox box at the bottom, and go. If you wish to enter a newline, but do not wish to alter the formatting, prefix the newline with: >>

Clicking the generated text will copy it, highlighting the background. Click again, or simply type, to unhighlight!

      Chat Log

By using the keybind Ctrl-o or pressing the ⟲ near the bottom right of the page, you can select a snooper log file for this application to track and display, with various filter options available.

You will generally want to select the most recent file in your snooper global directory.

On Windows, this can be found at one of the following path:
      %USERPROFILE%/Documents/Snooper Logs/global
      %USERPROFILE%/My Documents/Snooper Logs/global

On Linux, it is likely one of the following:
      ~/.local/share/dev.goats.xivlauncher/wineprefix/drive_c/users/$USER/Documents/Snooper Logs/global/
      ~/.xlcore/wineprefix/drive_c/users/$USER/Documents/Snooper Logs/global/

To filter out a particular character, click the character name. This option is denoted by a red strike through whilst your cursor is hovered over said character's name.

All filters can be reversed by unchecking the filters checkbox at the bottom right of the chat pane. When this is unchecked, all messages will be visible regardless of the currently selected filter. Hidden individual messages will have a green check mark to unhide them; hidden character names will have a blue strike through.

A black strikethrough indicates that the message is filtered by the chat selectors, and cannot be unhidden by other means.

Filtered character names are handled individually per chat tab, and tabs themselves are persisted between sessions.
